So you’re interested in one of our Popkids Parties? Hooray!

We make everything as simple as possible for you to arrange.  We’re highly organised, communicative and friendly too, so it’ll all be a breeze.

Here’s what you need to do next…

 

1. Check Availability

If you require a specific date for your party (as we expect you will) it’s vital that you get in touch before booking so we can check and confirm availability in advance for you to avoid disappointment.

Our parties are very popular and often book up months in advance. Please drop us an email or give us a call to discuss your party requirements and preferred dates prior to booking online. We can give you advice and suggestions from experience of how to ensure their Popstar recording studio party goes like a song!

 


 

2. Order

Once a date has been agreed, to confirm your booking, you can order securely via the links below – this will take you to our dedicated RecordingGift.com website. Payment is required in full at the time of booking. If you would prefer to order over the phone, then give us a call on 01752 562670. We accept payment by card, Paypal or cash by hand if you wanted to arrange to drop by to the studio.

Upon confirmation of your order, we will post you a gift pack to give to the lucky birthday boy/girl. We will also send you some cool party invites that they can send out to their chosen lucky friends. We will email you with confirmation of your booking. Please ensure that all the details are correct.

It is an involved process, but fortunately we’ve been doing it for many years and have it perfected!

We take great pride in our parties, and although it’s all just a bit of fun, we do give all participants a good vocal workout and get the very best from them all in the time we have. They should sleep well in the evening!!

This is a great confidence building exercise for kids and we receive numerous emails from parents of less confident kids thanking us. Who knows we may even discover that they are the next Ellie Goulding or Bruno Mars… and hopefully pay off your mortgage!

We will professionally mix their songs after they’ve all left, so it will sound even more fantastic as they do on the day and you will be able to collect the finished masterpieces hot off the press usually within 48 hours after your event.

Our parties are superb fun, and an unforgettable, hassle-free party for your kids that they will talk about for ages and never forget ! We guarantee that THIS is the party they will remember!

3. Choose Your Songs!

OK, so you’re all booked in… now for the challenge!!  We have over 40,000 songs to choose from and you have to whittle that down to just a few.

  • for Popstar Parties – 2 Songs
  • for Superstar Parties – 4 Songs
  • for Video Parties – 1 Song

When we email you with booking confirmation, we will ask for you to let us know your song choices ASAP or within 2 weeks of your party. The sooner the better so they will have plenty of time to practise. Our song database is updated regularly, but if you can’t find what you’re after, please ask.

Once you’ve let us know your song choice, we’ll email you a download link of your chosen songs and the lyrics which you can circulate to all participants. There will be versions with and without guide vocals for them to practise to.

We cannot stress enough how important it is to ensure that all participants know the songs well before arriving, so please make sure they learn all songs, and perhaps choose their fellow popstar singers wisely!

Image Consent

As we will be taking professional photographs and video (if ordered), we will require you to bring signed image consent forms on the day of the event for all children participants under 16.

Plan Your Route!
Arrive On Time! 

Please ensure everyone arrives by the start time (but please no more than a few minutes early as we’ll be sound checking and testing all the equipment and may not be able to get to the door).  It’s often not possible for us to run over your allocated time slot so it’s important that we’re ready to start promptly.

 

Bring Your Own Buffet!

Please feel free to bring your own buffet & birthday cake…there will be time for a few nibbles between songs and to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ !!

We have a room which overlooks the main recording room with a catering table where you can lay out food. We also have a small kitchen with a microwave and fridge which you are welcome to use. We will provide soft drinks and also tea/coffee etc.
